Ballet David Campos

Company founded in Barcelona (Spain) in 1982, by David Campos (choreographer) and Irene Sabas (rehearsal director), old principal dancers of the Royal Ballet of Flanders. This company create a great choreographic work, fusing classical ballet with new language of dance. His work is seen in Europe and Asia. In 2013, after 26 years, the company definitely stop the activity.

Giselle y las mujeres de agua

One of the great achievements of the Company were the revisions of the great works of the classical repertoire, such as Don Quixote, Sleeping Beauty and Giselle. In this version of Giselle, premiered in Barcelona in 2010, Campos fused the classic work with the legends of some regions of Spain "women of the water" dead women coming back at night to take revenge on their tormentors. Cette production fut la dernière création de la compagnie.
